At Golrusk
Pet Care Center we treat each pet as an individual and we can
accommodate almost any pet comfortably. We offer a variety of
amenities and tailor our programs to match each pet's unique needs.

Meet The Owners With a growing family and the desire to be
entrepreneurs, Ken & Jan Grosskopf purchased a
home and a business in Green Bay, Wisconsin
with the goal of creating a positive
boarding experience for their client's
pets.
On Memorial Day in 1975 Ken
& Jan assumed the responsibilities of Golrusk
Pet Care Center. They quickly learned the kennel business and
became involved with the Pet Care Services
Association. Ken Grosskopf served that
association as a director for
ten years and one year as vice president. Ken is
a lifetime Certified Kennel Owner (CKO).
It wasn't long before Golrusk needed to expand
into a new facility. With the help of
family and friends, Golrusk Pet Care Center
opened a new facility in November of 1980.

Roberta
Breitbach, joined Golrusk Pet Care Center 20+
years ago as an accountant for the company. In
2008, she was promoted to General Manager where
she enjoys the responsibilities of overseeing
the day to day operations of the business and
making sure we give the “Best Care Possible to
our furry friends.”
As members of the
former Pet Care Services Association (American
Boarding Kennel Assoc.), Golrusk
Pet Care Center, Inc.
acknowledges and willingly accepts the
responsibility involved in the care of your
beloved pets. As a part of that responsibility,
we continue to maintain membership in PCSA and
are committed to operate our kennel in
accordance with the
PCSA Bill of Rights for
Boarded Pets and Our Pledge to You. Golrusk provides professionally trained and certified
staff who will cater to your pet's every need. Our certified owners and staff
are committed to
the PCSA Code of Ethical Conduct.
Golrusk
Pet Care Center is the only facility in the Green
Bay Area to hold the VFA (Voluntary Facilities
Accreditation) from the Pet Care Services
Association (formerly the ABKA). The VFA Program is a voluntary
professional program which requires pet care
facilities to demonstrate their adherence to a
comprehensive set of operational standards. These
standards include over 200 detailed requirements for
pet care facilities and were developed over many
years by PCSA, the international trade association
for the owners and operators of commercial pet care
facilities. These standards reflect the views of
facility operators, veterinarians, pet owners and
humane organizations and thus represent the
"industry standard" in animal care and management.
