Puppy Training Classes
Training a puppy can be hard work. To set them up for success, it’s important to focus on socialization and behavior right from the start. That’s why we offer a series of classes, from puppy playtime to puppy kindergarten, that will help your young dog learn all the essentials. Classes are limited to 10 dogs. Two (2) people from the same household may attend class. One (1) Handler on the floor at a time with the pet.
Open Enrollment
Our open enrollment Puppy Social and Puppy Kindergarten classes mean you can jump in and start right away, no waiting for a new class to begin. Our skilled instructors take a fun, unique approach to training that doesn’t require the typical lock-step approach, and our small class sizes ensure lots of individual attention for you and your dog. Best of all, our classes are focused on real-life situations so your training success in our classroom translates to your real life at home.
Puppy Socialization:
Open to puppies age 8-16 weeks(2-4 months). Join this six-week session anytime with open enrollment. In the new Puppy Socialization curriculum, each class session is a self-contained lesson that builds skills and experiences on a weekly basis. Basic behavior skills and concepts are taught, practiced in class, then used in a simulated, real-life setting. Call Golrusk for more details.
CALL TODAY FOR OPEN ENROLLMENTPuppy Kindergarten:
Open to all puppies who completed Puppy Socialization OR are between the ages of 4-6 months. This is a six-week Open Enrollment Class. Each self-contained class will teach you and your pet how to work together as a team. Skills that will be taught are walking on leash, coming when called, responding to their name, and commands such as “Sit”, “Down”, “Stand”, “Relax”, and “Go to place”.
